Selection of Insulating Device Protector for Cathodic Protection in Oil and Gas Pipeline Project
摘 要
阴极保护中所用绝缘接头(法兰)保护器可能遭受强电冲击而造成失效, 但目前国内、外对绝缘接头(法兰)所遭受的雷击等强电冲击的参数无明确的数值规定。结合输油气工程中阴极保护绝缘装置标准规范的要求, 并借鉴相关领域的标准、规范,通过分析常用的绝缘接头保护器的类型及参数, 初步探讨了绝缘接头(法兰)所遭受的雷击等强电冲击的参数。结合工程实际探讨了绝缘装置保护器的选型原则并进行了设计实践。
Abstract
Failure of insulating devices (insulating joint/insulating flange) may occurr when they suffer heavy current surging. But, the parameters of heavy current surging are not defined in related codes or standards. Some codes or standards about specification of insulating joint/ insulating flange, used for cathodic protection in oil and gas pipeline project, are introduced. Other related codes or standards are referenced. Merits and drawbacks for deferent insulating joint protection devices are discussed. Characteristics of heavy current surging, suffered by insulating joint/ insulating flange, are analyzed. According to above analyses, the principle for selecting suitable insulating device protector are discussed. Several pipeline engineering projects were selected for design practice.
