Direct-Combustion of Sample-IR Spectrometric Determination of Carbon in Electrolytic Manganese
摘 要
将经用丙酮超声清洗并干燥的电解锰样品(0.5~0.8 g)置于预先在1 250 ℃灼烧处理并冷却至室温的瓷坩埚中,加入钨锡1.000 g和纯铁0.400 g作为助熔剂,充分混匀后置于碳硫测定仪中,按自动模式以CO2形态用红外光谱法测定样品的碳量。对同一样品(wC=0.003 8%)按方法做精密度试验,测定值的相对标准偏差(n=8)为5.3%。分析了已知含碳0.006%的电解锰样品,测得回收率(n=6)为102%。
Abstract
A portion of the electrolytic manganese sample (0.5-0.8 g), pretreated by cleaning with acetone and drying, was placed in a porcelain crucible, pretreated by igniting at 1 250 ℃ and cooling to room temperature, and mixed with 1.000 g of W-Sn and 0.400 g of pure iron as flux. The crucible with sample and flux was introduced into the C/S analyzer and operated under automatic mode. Content of carbon in the sample was determined by IR-spectrometry in the form of CO2. Precision was tested by analyzing a manganese sample (wC=0.003 8%) for 8 determinations, value of RSD found was 5.3%. Recovery was tested by analyzing a manganese sample of known carbon content (wC=0.006%), value recovery (n=6) found was 102%.
