Understanding the Time and Amplitude Gates in Pipewizard of an Automatic Ultrosonic Testing System for Pipeline Girth Weld
摘 要
介绍了奥林巴斯公司生产的PipeWizard管道环焊缝超声自动检测系统设置中的两个容易混淆的概念,即时间门和波幅门的物理意义及其设置方式,并对可能出现的问题进行了进一步阐述,讲解了实际工作过程中容易出现的错误设置及其识别方法。
Abstract
This paper introduces two easily confused concepts in the settings of PipeWizard ultrasonic automatic detecting system for pipeline girth weld manufactured by Olympus Corporation. The physical significance of time and amplitude gates and their setting methods are also presented and the possible problems confronted are further elaborated. The errors easily subjected during practical work process and their identification methods are described.
