Creeping Wave Testing for Butt Welded Joint of Thin Wall Power Transmission Line Steel Tubular Tower
摘 要
简述了爬波的机理。为了有效解决管式输电塔薄壁管对接环焊缝表面、近表面缺陷的检测问题,采用了爬波检测技术,并对其性能进行了试验验证。结果表明,采用爬波探伤可以有效地检测出表面及近表面的缺陷。爬波检测具有广泛的应用前景。
Abstract
Descriptions were made of the mechanism of creeping wave generation. To solve the problem encountered in the surface and near-surface defect inspection of butt welded joint of thin wall power transmission line steel tubular tower, creeping wave testing was used. In this paper, the test technique and its experimental verification are mainly described. The verification results showed that defect on the surface and near-surface of the butt welded joint can be determined effectively. Creeping wave testing has a bright application future in nondestructive testing field.
