Flaw Localization of the Cylinder Surface Longitudinal Weld by TOFD Examination
摘 要
在圆筒面纵向焊缝TOFD检测时需要对超标缺陷进行定位.缺陷的尺寸由长度和高度表征,缺陷的位置由深度和水平距离表征.采用将主声束聚焦于所检测分区的2/3深度处的思路,探讨了基于平板焊缝缺陷深度的计算公式,帮助检测人员在实际圆筒面纵向焊缝TOFD检测中精准判定缺陷位置,在保证检测精度的同时提高检测效率.
Abstract
It is needed to localize the flaw position for echoes over the gate on TOFD longitudinal welds testing.The size of the defect was characterized by the length and height, and the location of the defect was characterized by its depth and horizontal distance.It was considered to make the main beam focusing on about two-thirds of the partition of the weld under test and the defect depth calculation formula was based on planar weld.The above-mentioned method can help inspection personnel to accurately judge defect position in the cylinder surface longitudinal weld TOFD test, and to improve the efficiency of inspection while ensuring accuracy.
