Failure Analysis of the Sleeves and Bushings in Hot-dip Galvanizing
摘 要
针对连续热镀锌生产线系统容易出现摆动过大导致停工更换的现象,采用光学显微镜、扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪等设备对热镀锌用稳定辊轴套和轴瓦进行了失效分析,探讨并查明了轴套和轴瓦失效的原因.结果表明,轴套的腐蚀磨损过程包括锌液对粘结相的腐蚀、表面疲劳磨损、粘着磨损和磨料磨损,最终使轴套尺寸变小而失效.而轴瓦的失效形式为锌液的裂纹腐蚀、粘着磨损和颗粒的脱落.
Abstract
A serious problem was noticed in continuous hot-dip galvanizing,that is,the system was prone to move violently and the routine maintenance shutdowns were frequently required.Failure analysis of the sleeves and the bushings was done by using optical microscopy,SEM,X-ray diffraction analyzer.The failure reasons were discussed.The results indicated that the corrosion wear process of the sleeve included the corrosion of binding phase,surface fatigue wear,adhesive wear and abrasive wear,which made the sleeve dimensions decrease and the galvanizing system fail in the end.The failure modes of the bushing were the crack corrosion induced by molten zinc,adhesive wear and peeling-off of particles.
