Corrosion Inhibition of BTA and KI for Brass in Seawater
摘 要
采用极化曲线、交流阻抗、溶液分析等方法研究了苯并三氮唑(BTA)与碘化钾(KI)对天然海水中黄铜的协同缓蚀作用及加药顺序对缓蚀性能的影响.结果表明,当BTA和KI的使用浓度分别为2 mg/L和10 mg/L时,对黄铜的缓蚀率达到97.19%:考虑加药顺序后缓蚀率可进一步提高到99.31%.极化曲线测试表明,BTA与KI复配为混合型缓蚀剂,且抑制阴极反应的程度更强.SEM照片显示,添加了BTA与KI缓蚀剂的铜片表面基本没有腐蚀.溶液分析显示添加了BTA与KI复配缓蚀剂后有效地抑制了黄铜的脱锌腐蚀.
Abstract
The synergistic effect between benzotriazole(BTA) and KI on the corrosion inhibition of brass in seawater has been studied using electrochemical polarization,EIS,weight loss,solution analysis,and SEM methods.The results indicated that there was a good synergistic effect between BTA and KI.While the concentration of BTA and KI were 2 mg L-1 and 10 mg L-1,respectively,the inhibition efficiency reached 97.19%.The maximum inhibition efficiency even reached 99.31% considering the adding order of inhibitors.Polarization curves showed that the compound inhibitor of BTA and KI was a mixed inhibitor.SEM images indicated that little or no pitting corrosion occurred on metal surface.Solution analysis revealed that the BTA and KI excellently controled the dezincification of brass in seawater.
