A Review of Surface Modification of Aluminum Pigments Applied in Coatings
摘 要
铝粉作为重要的金属颜料之一,当其用于水性涂料时,易被腐蚀而逐渐失去金属光泽,因此需要对其进行表面改性.目前的表面改性方法主要有添加缓蚀剂法和包覆膜法,较多的是添加缓蚀剂来保护铝颜料,而包覆膜法对铝颜料能起到更好的保护作用,被认为是一种较有发展前景的方法.本文对铝颜料表面改性机理及改性方法的研究进展进行了介绍,指出了目前改性方法中存在的不足,并提出了改进措施.
Abstract
Aluminum,as one of the important metal pigments,can be easily corroded and tarnished when it is utilized in the waterborne paints.Therefore it is necessary to modify its surface.Now,two methods have been adopted,i.e,corrosion inhibitor and encapsulation.It is reported that the encapsulation could protect the aluminum pigments more efficiently,and is a prospect method for protection of aluminum pigments.The mechanism,methods and development of the aluminum pigment modification are reviewed in this paper.The deficiency of the present methods is pointed out and the improving ways are also suggested.
