Processing Map of 14% SiC/7A04 Aluminum Matrix Composites
摘 要
在Gleeble-3500热模拟试验机上对搅拌铸造法制备的14%SiC/7A04铝基复合材料进行了高温压缩试验,对其在0.001~1 s-1和300~450 ℃条件下的流变应力进行了研究,并根据动态材料模型建立了加工图.结果表明:在试验条件范围内,该材料热压缩变形时存在较明显的稳态流变特征,流变应力随温度的升高和应变速率的减小而降低;在应变速率为1 s-1时,绝热升温明显,温度随应变量的增加而升高;该复合材料的最佳加工温度在400~450 ℃,应变速率在0.001~0.01 s-1之间,而在低温高应变速率和高温中应变速率区域出现失稳.
Abstract
The hot deformation behavior of 14% SiC particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites produced by stir casting was investigated with compression tests on a Gleeble-3500 simulator,and processing maps were developed using the principles of dynamic materials models.The tests were performed in temperature range of 300-450 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.001-1 s-1.The results indicated that steady-state flow characteristics existed during hot compression deformation of the composite under the test conditions,and the flow stresses decreased with increasing temperature and decreasing strain rate.When the strain rate reached 1 s-1,adiabatic temperature rise during testing was considerable and increased with increasing strain.The processing maps illustrate that the optimum working region was at the temperature range of 400-450 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.001-0.01 s-1.Two domains of unsafe regime were also identified.
