Effect of Mixed Addition of Ce,Sr and Ba on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AZ91 Magnesium Alloy
摘 要
采用光学显微镜、X射线衍射仪﹑扫描电镜和能谱仪等研究了铈、锶和钡元素复合添加对AZ91镁合金显微组织和力学性能的影响.结果表明:铈、锶和钡的加入可以显著细化该合金的铸态组织,提高合金的室温力学性能;同时添加质量分数0.5%Ce,0.2%Sr和0.2%Ba时细化效果最好,合金的粒径最小,小块状的β-Mg17Al12相最多,在基体中可弥散分布;合金的抗拉强度和伸长率达到了195 MPa和1.86%,较未添加合金元素的分别提高了25.0%和24.0%.
Abstract
The effect of mixed addition of Ce,Sr and Ba elements on microstructure and mechanical properties of the AZ91 magnesium alloy by means of optical microscope,X-ray diffraction analyzer,scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy was investigated.The results show that the as-cast microstructure as well as room temperature mechanical properties could be greatly refined and improved by mixed addition of Ce,Sr and Ba.In the case of simultaneous addition of 0.5wt%Ce,0.2wt%Sr and 0.2wt%Ba,the grain-refining effect of the alloy was the best,the grain size was the smallest,and the quantity of the small bulk β-Mg17Al12 phase which distributed dispersively in the matrix was the most.The tensile strength as well as the elongation of the alloy increased by 25.0% and 24.0% than the alloy without alloy element addition,up to 195 MPa and 1.86% respectively.
