Analysis on Applicability of the Guided Wave Ultrasonic for Pipeline Corrosion Testing
摘 要
为研究管道中不同类型腐蚀如何影响超声导波检测结果, 以超声导波检测技术理论为基础, 对腐蚀检测进行了理论分析, 同时加工了标样管, 进行导波检测实验。分析结果表明: 导波检测技术能检测多种类型的局部腐蚀, 缺陷形状和管线结构(弯头、焊缝)对检测效果有重大影响。缺陷面积与管道横截面之比愈大愈易检出, 对应力腐蚀和疲劳腐蚀不适宜于用导波检测。
Abstract
In order to find out how the different types of pipeline corrosion impact the results of the guided wave ultrasonic testing, this paper undertook theoretic analysis based on simple explanation of the technique and its underlying principles, meanwhile an experiment was carried out on a part of pipeline in which there were different kinds of artificial defects. It was foand out that the guided wave ultrasonic testing was able to detect many kinds of pipeline corrosion, and the shape of corrosion and structural characteristic(elbow, weld)of pipeline had great impact on the results greatly.
