A Discussion on the Radiographic Quality Levels Specified in ASTM E1742—2008
摘 要
基于射线照相基本理论, 对ASTM E1742—2008标准关于射线照相质量级别的规定进行了分析讨论, 并与ISO标准的规定进行了比较。结果指出, ASTM E1742—2008标准基于ASTM E1025标准规定的射线照相质量级别, 每个级别本身对各厚度并不是等价的, 与工业射线照相技术也不构成一个协调的系统。
Abstract
On the basis of the fundamental theory of radiography, a discussion was made about the radiographic quality levels specified in ASTM E1742—2008. The comparison was made of the image quality requirements specified by ASTM E1742 and ISO 19232-3. The results showed that the specified requirements based on ASTM E1025 for radiographic quality levels equivalent could not be suited to all specimen thicknesses. The analysis revealed that the specified requirements in ASTM E1742—2008 were not compatible with the technical system of industrial radiography.
