SPALLING FAILURE ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF WORK ROLL FOR COLD STRIP MILL
摘 要
采用化学成分分析、宏微观检验等方法对1 700mm冷连轧机工作辊剥落失效进行了分析,结果表明,工作辊辊身表层基体组织不符合技术要求、显微硬度和残余奥氏体含量过高是导致工作辊内裂剥落的主要原因。提出了改进措施。
Abstract
Through investigating and analyzing on spalling fracture characteristics of cold strip work roll, a rare spalling appearance from barrel internal threadlike crack was founded; and through making examinations of chemical compositions, microstructure, micro-hardness, amount residual austenite and micro-fracture on those spalled work rolls, it was proved that main causes for work roll spalling from barrel internal crack were that the microstructure, micro-hardness and amount residual austenite etc. of barrel did not meet the technical specifications of cold work roll. Then some improvements had been made, and the spalling did not occur again.
