THE CONTROL OF SURFACE DECARBONIZATION IN THE HOT ROLL PROCESS FOR Si-BEARING MEDIUM CARBON STEEL
摘 要
研究了分别经历三种加热轧制工艺过程的含硅中碳钢表面的脱碳行为以及碳和硅元素对脱碳的影响。应用金相显微分析方法观察钢的表面脱碳层组织,测定由表及里的显微硬度值,找出了用还原性介质保护加热轧制的方法防止该钢表面脱碳的最佳工艺。所用还原介质的碳浓度应为钢中碳、硅元素含量之和的15倍左右。
Abstract
The surface decarburized behaviour of Si-bearing medium carbon steel and the effect of C and Si on the decarbonization have been investgated through three kinds of heating and rolling process. By using metallograph analysis method to observe the surface decarburized layer structure and measuring the microhardness from the outside to the inside of the samples,it was found that adopting the method of heating and rolling in the protective reducing atmosphere is the best process to prevent Si-bearing medium carbon steel from surface decarbonization,and the carbon concentration in the atomsphere should be about 15 times of the sum of the C and Si contents in the steel.
