Magnetization and Demagnetization of AS5282 Ring
摘 要
按照ASTM E 1444 标准进行荧光磁粉检验时, 需要运用AS5282环验证磁粉检测系统性能, 但标准中没有叙述如何调节电流, 也未讨论AS5282环磁化后如何退磁。笔者通过长期实践, 提出了用一根同样尺寸和材料的铜棒来预设磁化电流的方法。并在周向磁化AS5282环后再纵向磁化, 然后再退磁的方法, 解决AS5282环的剩磁问题。通过这两个步骤的实施, 可以提高AS5282环对磁粉检测系统验证的可靠性, 并进一步提高磁粉检测的有效性。
Abstract
According to ASTM E 1444, while performing the fluorescent magnetic particle inspection, the standard neither states in detail how to adjust the amperage value used in applying the AS5282 ring to verify the system performance nor gave description on how to demagnetize it after the ring was circularly magnetized. By experience of author, the method of applying one copper bar to preset the amperage value was advised. And solved the residual magnetism, longitudinal magnetizing the ring was applied only after the circular magnetization. After implementation of the above-mentioned ideas, the reliability of system performance by AS5282 ring was improved and the effectiveness of magnetic particle inspection was enhanced.
