Rapid HPLC Determination of Phenol in Mainstream of Cigarette Smoke with Solvent Trapping

卷烟主流烟气中的苯酚用35 mL乙酸(1+99)溶液为吸收液捕集,所得溶液定容为50 mL后分取2.0 mL供高效液相色谱分析.采用ZORBAX Stable Bound色谱柱(2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8 μm)进行快速分离,并用以不同配比混合的乙腈(其中含1%按体积比的乙酸)和乙酸-水(1+99)溶液的混合液作为流动相进行梯度淋洗.测定中用荧光检测法,检测波长为272 nm(激发波长)和310 nm(发射波长),每次样品分析只需5.0 min.对方法的重复性和再现性分别进行了试验,测得其相对标准偏差值依次为2.8%和4.6%,测得方法的回收率在95%~103%之间.
Abstract
Phenol in mainstream of cigarette smoke was trapped in 35 mL of dilute acetic acid solution (1+99 by vol.).The solution obtained was diluted to 50 mL,from which an aliquot of 2.0 mL was taken for the rapid HPLC analysis.The ZORBAX Stable Bound column (2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8 μm) was used for the rapid separation,and mixtures of acetonitrile (containing 1% by volume of acetic acid) and dil.acetic acid solution (1+99) mixed in various ratios were used as mobile phase in the gradient elution.Fluorescence detection with the wavelengths of 272 nm (λex) and 310 nm (λem) was adopted in the determination.Only 5.0 min were required for a determination.The repeatability and reproducibility of the method were tested,giving values of RSD′s (n=7) 2.8% and 4.6% respectively.Test for recovery was made by standard addition method at 3 concentration levels,values of recovery found were in the range of 95%-103%.
