Numerical Simulation of EMAT NDT for HIP Welding Joint in W-Cu Mono-Block
摘 要
托卡马克装置的偏滤器靶板多为钨块-铜管穿管部件,钨块-铜管间采用热等静压(HIP)焊接且有过渡层,具有多层管状结构。针对该多层管焊接界面的无损检测,提出了管外施加偏置磁场的电磁超声检测方法,开发了多层管电磁超声检测信号数值模拟程序,通过计算和比较缺陷区域大小和探头-缺陷相对位置对检出信号的影响,分析了横波和纵波探头的检测灵敏度和空间分辨率,说明了电磁超声无损检测方法对多层管界面脱粘缺陷检测的有效性。
Abstract
The vertical target of diverter of a Tokamak system consists of a lot of units of W-Cu Mono-block which has a multi-layer tube structure and is bonded together with the HIP welding technique. To validate the NDT method for quality of welding joint of the Mono-blocks,a numerical code was developed for the signal simulation of EMAT of a multi-layer tube,and was used to investigate the detectability and space resolution of EMAT probes with two different structures. Numerical results verified the validity of the proposed EMAT method and probe structure for the inspection of delamination in multilayer tube.
