Automatic Ultrasonic Testing for Pressure Housings Weld of the Control Rod Drive Mechanism in CEPR Nuclear Power Plant
摘 要
介绍了三代机组CEPR(中国先进压水堆)核电站控制棒驱动机构(CRDM)耐压壳焊缝的结构,针对被检焊缝的材料组织特性,提出了控制棒驱动机构耐压壳下部焊缝自动超声检测工艺要求,并进行了验证试验。结果表明:自动超声检测能够有效地检测出焊缝中高度大于3 mm的缺陷。
Abstract
This paper introduces the structure of the control rod drive mechanism pressure housings welds (CRDM) of the third generation CEPR unit. In view of the material and microstructure of the weld, the requirement of the lower weld of the control rod drive mechanism for ultrasonic testing technology was put forward and experiment to verify the technology was designed. The results showed that the ultrasonic testing method could detect a defect of its height being equal to or greater than 3 mm.
