Cause Analysis on Perforation and Leakage of Oil Drums Made of REGT1 Low Carbon Steel Sheet
摘 要
某公司使用规格为1.0 mm×1 000 mm的REGT1低碳薄钢板加工镀锌油桶,不同批次产品均多次出现表面穿孔渗漏问题。采用宏观分析、金相检验、扫描电镜以及能谱分析等方法对油桶穿孔渗漏原因进行了分析。结果表明:穿孔内部存在肉眼可见的大颗粒夹杂物,油桶穿孔渗漏是由于复合夹杂物部位在油桶加工过程中引起应力集中从而产生裂纹,裂纹扩展并导致穿孔渗漏失效。根据分析结果对炼钢和连铸工艺进行针对性的调整后,极大地减少了类似油桶穿孔渗漏失效的发生。
Abstract
REGT1 low carbon steel sheets with specification of 1 mm×1 000 mm were used to make oil drums in a company, and surface perforation and leakage appeared in several batches of products. The reasons for the perforation and leakage were analyzed by means of macro analysis, metallographic examination, and scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that there were several visible large particles in the material at the perforation location. The perforation and leakage of the oil drums was because of the composite inclusions which caused stress concentration and cracks around them during the machining of the oil drums. The cracks continuously propagated and resulted in the leakage failure. According to the analysis results, the steel making and continuous casting technology was adjusted, which greatly reduced the occurrence of similar perforation and leakage failure of the oil drums.
