Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing for Sealing Head Weld of Liquid Ammonia Storage Tank
摘 要
分析了液氨储罐封头焊缝超声检测的难点,为了提高缺陷检出的可靠性,采用相控阵超声检测技术对焊接模拟试块进行了检测,并成功检测出预制缺陷,同时也验证了检测工艺的可行性。将制定的检测工艺应用到现场,结果表明,液氨储罐封头焊缝的相控阵超声检测具有缺陷图像显示直观、检测结果可靠性高的优点。
Abstract
The difficulties faced by ultrasonic testing of the liquid ammonia tank sealing head weld were analyzed and the phased array ultrasonic testing technology was used to improve the reliability of defects detection. The prefabricated defects were successfully detected, and the feasibility of the detection process was also verified. The designed test process was applied to the site inspection and the results showed that phased array ultrasonic testing had the advantages of intuitive defect image display and high detecting reliability.
