Failure Analysis of 304L Stainless Steel Pipe
摘 要
某304L不锈钢管完成焊接并经过了试压,在放置了一段时间后,部分钢管发生腐蚀穿孔。为找出这些钢管失效原因,对其中某一失效钢管进行了宏、微观观察,并对其组织、夹杂物、化学成分、腐蚀产物成分、硬度等进行了分析。结果表明:该304L不锈钢管母材和焊缝中碳含量超标,有害夹杂物等级偏高以及试压水中的氯离子含量过高等因素导致其发生腐蚀穿孔。为防止此类事故发生,提出了相应的改进措施。
Abstract
Some 304L stainless steel pipes were welded and experienced pressure test. After being placed for a period of time, some of steel pipes were corroded and perforated. In order to find out the failure causes of the steel pipes, macroscopic and microscopic observations were carried out to one of the failed pipes. Moreover its microstructure, inclusions, chemical composition, corrosion product composition and hardness were analyzed. The results show that the reasons for corrosion perforation of the 304L stainless steel pipe were the exceeding standard requirements of carbon content in the base metal and the weld, the high level of harmful inclusions and the high concentration of Cl ion in the test water. Improving measures were proposed to prevent such accident.
