Failure Analysis and Countermeasures of Converter Hood
摘 要
某钢厂转炉烟罩发生开裂失效,导致冷却水泄漏。利用金相显微镜、扫描电镜等设备,从宏观形貌、化学成分、显微组织、腐蚀产物等方面对其失效原因进行了分析,并提出了相应的预防措施。结果表明:热应力、高温氧化和焊接缺陷是导致该烟罩发生开裂失效的重要原因。
Abstract
Cracking failure of a converter hood in some steel plant resulted in leakage of cooling water. The failure reasons were analyzed through analyses of macroscopic morphology, chemical composition, microstructure, corrosion products and other aspects using metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope and other equipment. And corresponding preventive measures were proposed. The results show that heat stress, high temperature oxidation and welding defects were the main reasons for cracking failure of the hood.
