Comparison between ASME and RCC-M for ultrasonic inspection of butt weld at manufacturing stage
摘 要
总结了ASME (2004版)规范和RCC-M (2007版)规范对核级设备对接焊缝制造阶段的超声检测要求,并对比了两者的差异。结果表明,两个规范在设备器材要求、扫查要求、灵敏度评定和验收标准等方面均有所不同,了解这些差异对于正确理解并应用标准具有一定的实际意义。
Abstract
This paper is to summarize the requests of two main references on ultrasonic butt weld inspection at the stage of manufacturing, the RCC-M(2004 edition) and the ASME(2007 edition). Some differences based on the UT equipment requirements, scanning requirements, sensitivity evaluations and acceptance levels are summarized. And these comparison results will be very beneficial for an accurate understanding and application of different standards.
