Ultrasonic beam full coverage method of inserted fillet welds and related test experiment
摘 要
为了提高插入式管座角焊缝超声检测的缺陷检出率,提出了利用刚性相控阵在管座上进行扇形扫查,结合柔性相控阵在接管内壁进行线性扫查的方法,从而实现对此类焊缝的声束全覆盖检测。首先,讨论了不同检测面的选择对缺陷检出率的影响;接着,利用CIVA软件仿真并分析了两种检测方法对不同缺陷的检出情况;最后,对自行设计的插入式管座角焊缝试样进行了检测。试验结果表明,同时利用这两种方法进行检测,可以有效提高缺陷检出率。
Abstract
In order to improve the ultrasonic flaw detection rate for the inserted fillet welds, a testing method of linear scanning of rigid phased array from tube seat and flexible phased array from inner wall of nozzle is presented in this paper. Thus, the sound beam full coverage detection of this kind of welds can be realized. Firstly, the influence of different detection planes on the rate of flaw detection is discussed. Then, the CIVA software is used to simulate and analyze the detection of different flaws by two testing methods. Finally, the test of self-designed inserted fillet welds specimen is carried out. The experiment result shows that the rate of flaw detection can be improved effectively by using these two methods at the same time.
