Eddy current array testing and ultrasonic testing of thin steel plate coating quality
摘 要
利用涡流阵列和水浸超声检测系统对表面覆有铜涂层的薄钢板进行检测,通过两种方法开展了钢板检测对比试验,结果表明:两者均能实现此种材料涂层质量的二维成像检测;经综合比较分析,涡流阵列检测得到的结果优于水浸超声检测得到的结果,其图像清晰可靠、信噪比高,与产品表面涂层的实际质量状况一致;涡流阵列检测技术对于金属表面涂层的质量检测和性能表征具有很好的效果。
Abstract
The eddy current array and water immersion ultrasonic testing system were used to test the copper-coated steel sheet. Two methods are used for comparative experiments and the results show that both of them can achieve two-dimensional imaging of coating quality of this material. But a comprehensive comparative analysis has shown that results by eddy current array testing are better than that of ultrasonic testing, with the image of the former one being clearer and more reliable, and the signal-to-noise ratio being higher, which is consistent with the actual quality of the surface coating of the product. The results show that the eddy current testing technology has a good effect on the quality imaging detection and performance characterization of metal surface coatings.
