Ultrasonic testing of electron beam weld crack of the workpiece
摘 要
针对某工件电子束焊缝需要检测的裂纹位置和区域,提出了专用波型转换斜楔块与纵波直探头配合的超声检测方法。根据裂纹位置和检测区域制作了对比试样,其上有不同深度的电火花刻槽用以模拟不同深度的裂纹;根据工件环状电子束焊缝位置、周围结构、横波声束角、声束中心位置、纵波直探头、焊缝宽度、焊缝厚度等设计并制作了专用波型转换斜楔块。该超声检测方法可检测出对比试样上不同深度的电火花刻槽,可用于该工件电子束焊缝裂纹的检测。
Abstract
Aiming at the crack position and area in the electron beam weld of the workpiece, ultrasonic testing method of special wave mode conversion wedge combined with longitudinal wave straight probe was proposed. According to the crack location and detection area, the comparison sample was made. There were EDM grooves with different depths on the comparison sample to simulate cracks with different depths. A special wave mode conversion wedge was designed and manufactured according to the position of annular electron beam weld, surrounding structure, transverse wave beam angle, sound beam center position, longitudinal wave straight probe, weld width and weld thickness. Through the test, the EDM grooves with different depths on the comparison sample could be detected. This method could be used to detect the electron beam weld crack of the workpiece.
