Causes of outer ring spalling of aviation rolling bearings
摘 要
某型号航空滚动轴承的外圈滚道表面发生了剥落。采用宏观观察、金相检验、水浸超声检测、硬度测试及扫描电镜分析等方法,分析了该轴承外圈剥落的原因。结果表明:轴承外圈滚道发生接触疲劳剥落,产生原因是材料内部存在微小缺陷,并在循环往复应力的作用下形成了高硬度“蝶形”组织,加速了轴承外圈疲劳剥落。
Abstract
The outer ring raceway surface of a certain type of aviation rolling bearing had spalling. By means of macroscopic observation, metallographic examination, immersion ultrasonic testing, hardness testing and scanning electron microscopy analysis, the causes of the bearing outer ring spalling were analyzed. The results show that the bearing outer ring raceway had contact fatigue spalling, which was caused by the existence of small defects in the material and the formation of a high hardness “butterfly” organization under the action of cyclic stress, which accelerated the bearing outer ring fatigue spalling.
