Affecting factors of flaw height measurement in carbon steel materials PAUT testing
摘 要
在海洋石油天然气平台建造过程中,相控阵超声检测技术已经全面应用于管线对接焊缝检测中。根据设计要求,经相控阵超声检测的缺陷应依据标准ASMEB31.3-2020《工艺管道规范》附录R进行评定,标准要求在验收时需要对缺陷高度和长度进行测量,然而相控阵超声测高的准确性和可靠性并不理想。通过对声束聚焦深度、探头角度、检验声程等检测参数进行研究,分析了碳钢材料PAUT检测中缺陷测高的主要影响因素。
Abstract
In the process of offshore oil and gas platform construction, phased array ultrasonic testing technology has been widely used in pipeline butt weld testing. According to the design requirements, the defects detected by phased array ultrasonic testing shall be evaluated according to Appendix R of ASME B31. 3-2020 “Process Piping”. The standard requires that the height and length of defects shall be measured during acceptance. However, the accuracy and reliability of phased array height measurement are not ideal. Through the study of phased array ultrasonic testing parameters such as acoustic beam focusing depth, probe angle and inspection sound path, the main influencing factors of defect height measurement in PAUT testing of carbon steel materials are analyzed.
