Effectiveness of Cathodic Protection under Insulation of Buried Pipelines
摘 要
针对西部某油田原油保温管道保温层下腐蚀的风险,在该管线旁埋设全尺寸保温管开展现场试验。采用检查片、Ag/AgCl微参比电极、ER (电压、电阻)腐蚀探头等,对保温层下的阴极保护和腐蚀速率进行监测。结果表明:完好的管道夹克层和保温层具有一定的防护及防腐蚀作用;当夹克层和保温层产生老化剥离、破损后,在含溶解氧水的作用下,阴极保护回路或测试回路的稳定性无法保证,管道可能被腐蚀。因此,阴极保护方法难以成为保温层下腐蚀防护的有效手段。
Abstract
In view of the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI) of a crude oil insulation pipeline in a western oil field, a field test was carried out by burying a full-size insulation pipe close to the pipeline. The cathodic protection and corrosion rate under the thermal insulation layer were monitored by inspection pieces, micro reference Ag/AgCl electrodes, ER (voltage, resistance) corrosion probes. The results showed that the undamaged jacket and insulation had certain protection and corrosion prevention for the pipeline. When the jacket and insulation were peeled or damaged because of aging, the stability of the cathodic protection circuit or test circuit cannot be guaranteed under the action of water containing dissolved oxygen, and the pipeline may be corroded. Therefore, cathodic protection is difficult to become an effective means of corrosion protection under insulation.
