Eddy current testing technology of forged steel cold roll
摘 要
利用涡流探伤仪测试轧辊时,发现个别轧辊产品在经过正常热处理后、投入轧制使用前存在涡流软点信号。采用硬度测试、化学成分分析、金相检验、残余应力测试等方法对该类涡流软点信号进行精确定位,并对试样的使用效果进行跟踪。结果表明:涡流软点信号的产生与淬火过程中的工件表面残余应力分布不均有关。该类信号会在轧辊使用初期的几个周期内迅速降低,不会对轧辊的使用造成不利影响。
Abstract
When the eddy current flaw detector was used to test the roll, it was found that there were eddy current soft spot signals in some roll products after normal heat treatment and before it was put into rolling use. Hardness test, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination and residual stress test were used to accurately locate the eddy current soft spot signal, and the effect of the sample was tracked. The results show that the generation of eddy current soft spot signal was related to the uneven distribution of residual stress on the surface of the workpiece during quenching. This kind of signal would be rapidly reduced in the first few cycles of roll use, and would not adversely affect the use of the roll.
