Effect of Salt Concentration on Corrosion Behavior of L360 Mild Steel and Inhibitor Performance in Environment Containing Elemental Sulfur

以某酸性气田集输管道工况为研究背景, 通过试验模拟研究L360抗硫钢在存在元素硫沉积环境的3.5 % NaCl和10 % NaCl溶液中的腐蚀行为及缓蚀剂性能。结果表明, 盐含量对元素硫导致的均匀腐蚀没有明显影响, 但小孔腐蚀随盐含量的增加变得更加严重; 元素硫显著降低了季铵盐型批处理缓蚀剂的有效期, 但批处理缓蚀剂的性能基本上不受盐含量的影响; 在一定浓度的咪唑啉基连续加注缓蚀剂和批处理缓蚀剂的联合作用下, 元素硫导致的金属腐蚀可得到有效控制。
Abstract
Corrosion behaviors of L360 mild steel and inhibitor performance of two inhibitors in 3.5% NaCl and 10% NaCl solution in presence of elemental sulfur were investigated in the laboratory to simulate the condition of a sour gas gathering pipeline. The results showed that general corrosion of L360 steel caused by elemental sulfur was independent of salt concentration, but pitting corrosion became severer with the increase of salt concentration. Elemental sulfur significantly accelerated the failure of quaternary ammonium based batch inhibitor. However the inhibition of batch inhibitor was almost not affected by salt concentration. The corrosion of L360 mild steel in presence of elemental sulfur can possibly be controlled to an acceptable level with the right concentration and combination of batch and imidazoline based continuous inhibitor.
