Appliance of Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer Technology in the Oil Steel Pipe Industry
摘 要
简述了电磁超声检测技术的基本原理以及电磁超声检测的两个重要组成部分, 高频线圈和磁铁的优化设计、检测方法和检测结果, 举例说明了该技术在石油管行业板材和管材检测中的应用, 同时说明了该检测方法的优势和局限性。该方法可有效应用于板材和管材的检测, 可靠性、准确度和检测效率能达到传统的自动超声检测水平。电磁超声检测(EMAT)是一种可靠的新型无损检测方法, 将逐渐在石油管行业领域得到广泛应用。
Abstract
Descriptions were made of the theory of electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT) technology. The optimization design, test method and effectiveness of the two important parts of electromagnetic acoustic transducer of high-frequency coil and electromagnet were expounded. The detecting effectiveness of EMAT for the sheet material and tubular products were illustrated with examples. Moreover the advantages and limitations of this method were also shown. Test results show that the method can be used to test the sheet material and tubular product and its reliability, accuracy and detection efficiency are better than the AUT. It is a new-style NDT method. It is considered that electromagnetic acoustic transducer technology will be widely used in petroleum industry.
