Effect of Molybdenum Disilicide on Microstructure and Properties of Nickel-Aluminum Coating
摘 要
在镍包铝粉体中添加MoSi2, 采用等离子喷涂方法制备了镍铝涂层, 研究了MoSi2对镍铝涂层的组织、显微硬度和摩擦磨损性能的影响, 并分析了涂层的磨损机理。结果表明: 加入MoSi2后, 镍铝涂层主要由Ni3Al、NiAl、MoSi2和Mo5Si3相组成; 随着MoSi2含量的增加, 涂层中孔隙、微裂纹的数量及尺寸增加, 显微硬度也逐渐增大; 加入质量分数为20%的MoSi2后涂层的耐磨性最好; 纯镍铝涂层的磨损机理为磨粒造成的犁削, 加入20%MoSi2后涂层的磨损机理为碾压作用和少量的脆性断裂, 加入50%MoSi2后涂层主要为脆性断裂。
Abstract
MoSi2 was added to nickel-aluminum powders to prepare nickel-aluminum coatings by using plasma spraying, the effect of MoSi2 on microstructure, microhardness and friction and wear property of nickel-aluminum coatings was studied, and the wear mechanism of the coating was analyzed. The results show that the nickel-aluminum coating mainly composed of Ni3Al, NiAl, MoSi2 and Mo5Si3 phases after adding MoSi2, the number and size of porosity and the microcracks in the coating and the microhardness of coating increased with the increase of the content of MoSi2. The wear resistance of the coating with 20wt% MoSi2 was the best. The wear mechanism of pure nickel-aluminum coating was ploughing caused by abrasive particles, the wear mechanism of the coating with 20wt% MoSi2 was mainly pressing and a small number brittle fracture, and the wear mechanism of the coating with 50wt% MoSi2 was brittle fracture.
