Effect of Content of VC on Mechanical Properties of Ti(C,N) Based Cermets
摘 要
采用热压烧结法制备了不同VC含量的Ti(C0.7N0.3)-(Ni-Co)-Cr2C3-VC系Ti(C,N)基金属陶瓷,通过扫描电镜观察了组织结构与断口形貌,用三点弯曲法测试抗弯强度,用压痕法测得试样硬度和断裂韧度;分析了VC含量对材料力学性能和断口形貌的影响.结果表明:材料的断裂均以沿晶断裂为主,随着VC含量的增加,材料的抗弯强度呈下降趋势,而硬度和断裂韧性呈上升趋势;VC含量为16%时,试样的综合性能最好.
Abstract
Ti(C0.7N0.3)-(Ni-Co)-Cr2C3-VC system cermets with different content of VC were fabricated by hot pressure technology.The microstructure and fracture morphology were investigated by scanning electron microscope,and the mechanical properties such as flexural strength,Vicker’s hardness and fracture toughness were measured.The mechanical properties and SEM microphotography of fracture surface of the Ti(C,N) based cermet with different VC content were discussed.It is shown that the fracture modes of the four fabricated materials are mainly intergranular.It is also demonstrated that the flexure strength of the materials is decreased with the increase of VC content,the hardness and fracture toughness are increased with the increase of VC content.The integrated properties are the best when the content of VC is 16wt%.
