Analysis on Linear Defect of 65Si2MnWA Spring Steel
摘 要
某批65Si2MnWA弹簧钢在磨削过程中发现横截面存在线状缺陷。通过对缺陷件进行外观检查、金相检验、扫描电镜观察以及能谱分析,确定了缺陷性质和产生原因。结果表明:该缺陷并非裂纹,而为非金属夹杂物,是一种原材料冶金缺陷;其产生原因是钢在电渣重熔浇铸过程中形成缩孔,渣料残留于钢材缩孔中未切除干净,在后续的轧制和拉拔过程中发生变形而形成线状分布的缺陷。最后提出了改进及预防措施。
Abstract
Linear defect was found on the cross section of 65Si2MnWA spring steel during grinding. Through visual inspection, metallographic examination, scanning electron microscope observation and energy spectrum analysis of the defect part, the nature and causes of the defect were determined. The test results show that the defect was not cracks, but non-metallic inclusions, and it was a kind of raw material metallurgical defect. The defect was mainly caused by the shrinkage of the steel formed during the process of electro slag remelting and casting. Because the slag residue in the shrinkage of the steel was not cut, it deformed to linear defect during the subsequent rolling and drawing. Finally, the improvement and preventive measures were put forward.
