Selection of Test Method for the Closed Cup Flash Point of Flammable Liquids
摘 要
介绍了可燃液体闭口杯闪点的不同测试方法,比较分析了各测试方法测定的可燃液体闭口杯闪点值的差异。结果表明:测定表面不成膜样品的闭口杯闪点时,液体样品按照ASTM D6450-2016进行测试比较合适;黏稠液体样品建议按照ASTM D7094-2017a进行测试;膏体样品按照ASTM D56-2016或GB/T 21929-2008进行测试。对表面成膜的样品则建议使用在检测过程中带有搅拌功能的测试方法,一般液体或黏稠液体按照ASTM D7094-2017a进行测试;膏体样品按照ASTM D93-2016或GB/T 261-2008进行测试。
Abstract
Different test methods for determination of closed cup flash point of flammable liquid were described, and the different results of those methods for the determination of closed cup flash point of flammable liquids were compared and analyzed. The results show that when measuring the closed cup flash point of samples without film on the surface, testing the liquid samples to ASTM D6450-2016 is more suitable. It is recommended that viscous liquid samples are tested to ASTM D7094-2017a and paste samples are tested to ASTM D56-2016 or GB/T 21929-2008. For the samples with surface film, the methods with stirring function in the detection process are recommended. Commonly, the liquids or viscous liquid samples are tested to ASTM D7094-2017a and the paste samples are tested to ASTM D93-2016 or GB/T 261-2008.
