Discussion on the coverage of ultrasonic beam in ultrasonic testing
摘 要
超声检测标准中均提到超声波束覆盖率的问题。通过对风电锻件的超声检测,提出了使用标准超声探头,测量探头声束宽度确定超声波束覆盖率的方法,以满足超声波声束覆盖率的要求,保证锻件超声检测波束的100%覆盖,可为同行提供参考。
Abstract
The ultrasonic beam coverage is a common topic in ultrasonic testing standards. We demonstrated a new method of detecting the ultrasonic beam coverage of wind power forgings. By measuring the beam width of standard ultrasonic probe applied in the test, we are able to detect the ultrasonic beam coverage precisely and guarantee the full coverage. Thus, our method can provide reference for peers.
