Abstract: As the progressive attention is paid to the integrity management of pipelines in China,internal corrosion direct assessment(ICDA)based on integrity management is concerned due to its unique advantage.The importance,principle,process and application of ICDA to dry gas transmission pipelines were introduced.The limitation and existing problems with the application of ICDA were also discussed.
