    • Double-crystal P-wave probes in the ultrasonic nondestructive testing are widely used, therefore, we need to develop an alternative mathematical model of double-crystal probe.Based on Snell's law and the Huygens principle, and combined with the sound pressure difference model of beam cross section, an alternative mathematical model of double-crystal probe is established to be used effectively to identify defects in the body echo signals. By comparing of the experimental data with the flat bottom hole echo signal, the correctness of the mathematical model of choice of the double crystal probe is verified.
