    GC-MS Determination of Volatile Oil from Leaves and Twigs of Dwarfed Cinnamomum Camphora Var. Linaolifera Fujita with Microwave Assisted Steam-Distillation Extraction

    • Sample of leaves or twigs of dwarfed cinnamomum camphora var. linaolifera fujita were extracted by microwave assisted steam-distillation (MASD), and the volatile oil obtained was determined by GC-MS. As shown by the analytical results and the comparative study between the data obtained by the methods of MASD and traditional steam-distillation, the kinds and contents of main components of volatile oil obtained were similar, while only 37.5 min were required to attain to the max. extraction rate by MASD.
