    • HPLC was applied to the determination of 7 organic acids,i.e. oxalic acid,malic acid,α-ketoglutaric acid,citric acid,fumaric acid,aconitic acid and citraconic acid in citric acid fermentation liquor. Atlantis C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm) was used as stationary phase,and 0.05 mol·L-1 Na2HPO4 solution of pH 2.8 was used as mobile phase at a flow-rate of 0.8 mL·min-1. UV-detection at 210 nm was used in the determination. The 7 organic acids were completely separated under the optimum conditions. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of the 7 organic acids were kept in definite ranges. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of citric acid fermentation liquor,giving values of recovery obtained by standard addition method in the range of 97.1%-107.6% and RSD′s (n=6) less than 1.5%.
