    • A kind of bi-component solvent-free polyurethane joint coating consists of methylene diisocyanate (MDI), polyether polyol and epoxy resin was prepared. The relationship between structure and performance of the coating was studied by infrared spectroscopy. The influences of MDI, polyther polyol, epoxy resin, thixotropic agent and auxiliaries on the performance of the coating were discussed. The results show that the solvent-free coating is safe and of environmental protection, its performance conforms to the national standard requirements, and suits to the joint of pipeline.
