    • As to the characteristics of the thick section of nodular cast iron wheel hubs, the double crystal sensor and single crystal longitudinal wave sensor and self-provided DGS curve drawing instrument were used to detect defects in nodular cast iron wheel hubs for Large-scale Wind Power generation. The detecting method of the determination of the defect quantity and nature within the nodular cast iron was designed by ultrasonic detection practice. The detection was high effective.
