    • Sample of ferro-phosphorus was dissolved in HNO3, HF and HClO4. After fuming with HClO4 to expel fluoride, P, Mn, Ti and Al were determined in HNO3(1+99) solution by ICP-AES using the analytical spectral lines of 213.618, 257.610, 334.941 and 308.215 nm for the 4 elements respectively. In the analysis of 4 substantial samples, including a CRM of GBW 01429, the results found by this method were in consistency with the values found by chemical method or with the certified values. Value of RSD′s (n=6) obtained were 0.49%(P), 0.43%(Mn), 0.83%(Ti) and 9.0%(Al).
