    • For nondestructive testing at high temperatures over 400 ℃, a new type of transducer as piezoelectric thin film transducer was utilized. Neither extensive surface preparation nor coupling gel was needed. The films were deposited directly onto metal components and curved surface, enabling to real-timely monitor the corrosion condition of high temperature plant , thus providing useful data for safe operation of plant.
