    • The thermohydrogen treatment on (TiB, TiC)/Ti1100 composites fabricated by in situ reaction was studied. The phase analysis was carried out on the composites with different hydrogen contents by XRD, and the effect of hydrogen on the microstructure of the composites was investigated with optical microscopy. Besides, the transformation temperature was detected. The results indicate that with increasing the hydrogen concentration, the diffractive peaks of α-Ti and β-Ti phase deflected to the low angle and hydride precipitated on grain boundaries gradually. The transformation temperature of the composites declined and grains of the substrate Ti alloy defined slightly.
