    • The technological process and passivating solution of electric-brush plating cadmium on 4340 steel were determined by tests. The results show that electric-brush plating cadmium is a technological method with anti-corrosion, good adherence and low hydrogen brittleness proved by the tests on corrosion performance, hydrogen content and adherence. As a local repair process, this technology can resolve the problem of local reduction in corrosion resistance of steel parts with plated Cd.
