    • A method for the determination of formic acid in cyclohexane by GC was described.TCD and decanedioic acid/GDX103 chromatographic column (2 m×2 mm) with TCD detector were used in this work.Under the optimized conditions,limit of detection (3S/N) of the proposed method was found to be 1.0 mg·kg-1.Linearity range was found in the range of 10.0-100.0 g·L-1.Recoveries obtained by standard additions were in the range of 96.0%-104.3%.Precision test was carried out at the concentration levels of 20.0,100.0 g·L-1,and RSDs (n=7) obtained were 3.2% and 1.9% respectively.Accuracy and precision of the method met with the technical specification for the determination of formic acid in cyclohexane production.
