    • The effects of tetrapod-like zinc oxide whiskers(T-ZnOw)on microstructure,mechanical properties and compressive stress relaxation properties of the silicone rubber foam composites were studied.The results show that the density,hardness and tensile strength of the silicone rubber were increased remarkably with the addition of tetrapod-like zinc oxide whiskers,the average cell diameter size of the composites was reduced.The distribution of the cells was optimized,and the more the addition,the more obvious the increase.The compress stress relaxation properties of the composite were decreased remarkably with the use of the T-ZnOw,and the more the addition,the more obvious the decrease.
