    • Using the Canny operator to process the frequencydomain enhancement image by Matlab was presented. The processing results were optimized in dual threshold way by hysteretic threshold to improve the visibility. It was proved that the Canny edge detector processing could effectively detect the edge of the classical defects in digital radiography image. It was validated that the visibility could be improved greatly.
